Juno 03:51
I don't know what you know, but I will be your Juno and we will find a better place than here to settle down, to call our own we've come this far and we've only grown enough to feel the sun and our eyes are clear to watch the pictures of our face removed in silence to be replaced with nothing more than the cover of the glass So you go out and you call home when you get back we'll be alone with nothing but the stars to draw us near But I will look forward now no more until we've made it to the shore And we'll strip down and we'll jump in and swim back to the places we've been Cause we don't need air anymore So we won't come up until there's no war The world ends and a new one takes its place Then we'll come up and be the ones of grace You roll down your window and we look out at the street's glow the dead of night's never been so bright from here Diana's waiting in the sky for us to turn back home and cry forgiveness to all that have done us wrong so many times But I will look back there now no more until we've made it to the shore And we'll strip down and we'll jump in and swim back to the places we've been Cause we don't need air anymore So we won't come up until there's no war The world ends and a new one takes its place Then we'll come up and be the ones of grace Cause we don't need air anymore So we won't come up until there's no war The world ends and a new one takes its place Then we'll come up and be the ones of grace Before we enter our home below we glance once more to the seeds we've sown all that we've done never turned out quite the way we planned It's time to go and I turn to see that waiting there in vibrant greens the open ocean, and the future waiting for us to choose.

We still wear separate clothes For reasons everybody only kind of knows There's right and there's left, that's that don't you hear? If you look any farther you'll regret it I swear. But we're all headed for that same old spot Running 'round headless towards the boiling pot For when we no longer know what's what And that's the day we'll finally be free. There' dresses and there's messes to clean up alone waiting for the phone to ring Mascara running, no self-esteem How do you address me when I don't want to be seen? But we're all headed for that same old spot Running 'round headless towards the boiling pot For when we no longer know what's what And that's the day we'll finally be free. Free We all seem to know what happens to those Frightened to death by the strength they oppose We keep moving forward but nothing seems to get done So hide back indoors or get burned by the sun But we all talk differently when we cry We're in between the times There are ties and being tongue-tied, running around and trying from the other side but there ain't no one being satisfied You're tripping up stairs, trying to come up for air, but even when you get there, you're underwater But we're all headed for that same old spot Running 'round headless towards the boiling pot For when we no longer know what's what And that's the day we'll finally be free. Free Free Free.

Orion 04:39
There's a sale on fruit, but everyone's buying candy There's a sale on batteries, but everyone's buying gas Three lights, up in the middle of the night sky We'll stay outside and watch for three nights While the world waits Three lights, up in a row it's just a small sight in the middle of the rewrites to make the world great You're hungry when there's food on your plate You're early when you thought you were late You're funny, even though they're not laughing You're finished even though they're not clapping So you go to a place far away so you don't have to face The people who scare you The people who know you and the people who love you have nothing to do with the dreams that you've gone through Three lights, up in the middle of the night sky We'll stay outside and watch for three nights While the world waits Three lights, up in a row it's just a small sight in the middle of the rewrites to make the world great Just because I'm alone doesn't mean that I'm lonely 'Cause even when I'm alone I'm still dancing to slowly Just because I'm alone doesn't mean that I want you to stay It's scary waking up from the dream It's harder when you know you can't scream But it's worth it, when you know it has ended You can show it, and then hope they're offended Three lights, up in the middle of the night sky We'll stay outside and watch for three nights While the world waits Three lights, up in a row it's just a small sight in the middle of the rewrites to make the world great Three lights, up in the middle of the night sky We'll stay outside and watch for three nights While the world waits

When I look up at the clouds Or I see your smiling face It makes me long for nothing more than your warm embrace When I listen to the leaves on a summer afternoon Or I'm sailing away into the night-time and hear the calling of a loon I smile It makes me smile I smile I smile for you When I look up at the night sky it makes me want to fly so high and catch the stars and bring them back for you And then I realize you're standing next to me And in your hand are all these fireflies And then I realize that they're not fireflies And then you take my hand And we fly so high we catch the stars We fly So high We fly And we catch the stars

One Heart 02:03
Why do we cry when we're safe in the middle of a space where the quiet embrace of the night-time holds us up? Why do our tears fall when we're sitting on the asphalt awaiting the warmth that we've missed from the middle of this one heart? But it won't stop now, no it won't stop now No it won't stop till we've filled our mind with the safety of this one heart Why do we laugh when we're broken, running in circles again until we've reached the drain? Why are we so damn hard on what we do when we clearly see we've made a dream come true? Why do we laugh when we're so far gone that we don't remind us of ourselves? Maybe the bags under our eyes are telling them sweet little lies About where we're from, what we've done, and maybe a little 'bout why we're on the run But maybe the thing we need to know was really inside us all along But it won't stop now, no it won't stop now No it won't stop till we've filled our mind with the safety of this one heart

Looking Down 02:57
Some days when I'm looking down I see myself all over the place Some days when I'm looking down and missing my friend's embraces When will I learn to walk with my head up? When will I learn, that I'm not the only one fed up With looking down in order to stay firmly on the ground? 'Cause after a while we'll have to say goodbye And after a while of fighting we'll know why 'Cause there is a doorway that I won't fit through But I'll be there to lift you and make sure you see your way through I'll look where I'm going when I'm finished knowing why Clearly hear lies the late, great heart of the earth Drugging our hearts and filling our minds With stories we told ourselves back when we were children the world revolves and people evolve And everything else stays where it is But after a while we'll have to say goodbye And after a while of fighting we'll know why 'Cause there is a doorway that I won't fit through But I'll be there to lift you and make sure you see your way through

Wooden Legs 02:36
We all need to run away sometimes But we've all grown oak and fir instead of thighs So you try to run on your wooden legs Learn to walk again only to find that you've become a nest egg Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and never look back Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and hope they don't crack hope they don't crack I hope one day you look out through the window And you'll find that nothing's really changed Things have moved, seasons passed But none of those things ever last The only sure thing that you will find is that you've learned to walk around if only in your mind Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and never look back Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and hope they don't crack Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and never look back Try to walk to walk again Try to walk on your wooden legs and hope they don't crack Hope they don't crack Hope they don't crack.

Itching 02:45
I'm itching for a feeling I'm itching for what's right I'm itching for whatever could happen tonight I'm waiting for the whistle I'm waiting for the go I'm waiting for somebody to tell me no 'Cause I won't be satisfied Until I get my reason Until I start my time You won't hear much from me 'til I hear what's on the line And everyone can see me And everyone can know that I'm making my way up 'cause it's the only way to go And I won't be satisfied Until I find my way around this town Of people who turn the other cheek When they find something they don't wanna find It doesn't matter now. I'm working for your freedom I'm working for your place I'm working for whatever you consider your space And if I cannot take it or if you do not show I'll ride around the block until all your neighbours know That I won't be satisfied Until I find my way around this house Of people who've worked their way into beds that someone else has made It doesn't matter now, It only mattered then and then only for a moment.

I've been looking at the sun for way to long Made me blind to everything's been going on And every time I try to look away These spots just start making everything look grey But I've been looking to the sun For direction on where to run Just trying to find out where I belong I'm just looking for somewhere to run And I've just been waiting on someone To catch up and tell me to slow down But I've been running for so long I'm not sure there's anyone like that around But I've been looking to the sun For direction on where to run Just trying to find out where I belong I'm just looking for somewhere to run And in the time it takes for you to say A prayer for me I'm sure I'll be OK I'll find my way back home, Just trust you'll have to give me some time on my own Time on my own Life doesn't stop for you To figure out where you want to go So you're screwed, unless you already know And if you spend your time looking too far ahead The time you've been given is already dead But I've been looking to the sun For direction on where to run Just trying to find out where I belong I'm just looking for somewhere to run I'm just looking for somewhere to run I'm just looking for somewhere to run.

about

Scalawag is a Solo music artist that is sure to both make you nostalgic for things you've never experienced, and keep your head bopping and your torso grooving. With an eclectic mix of genre, and distinct vocals, Scalawag takes you on a journey of imagination. The album begins with a journey of self reflection as the singer decides to leave their home in hopes of something better for the future, but is confronted with a choice. As the singer embarks on their Odyssey of self-reflection and outer reflection, they come to the realization that all that running away has done is just make it harder for them to let go of the past. With this introspective trip through what it means to want a better life, this album will make you think, feel, and most of all, hum along.
